From the above it is reasonable to expect that there will be at least one more M6+ and possibly M7+ event in Hokkaido from May to the end of this year 2013

It may also be interesting to compare this graph with that for Honshu which also shows a strong rising trend in year 2013 and that for Kuril which shows a more normal undulation

The above shows the detailed forecast deviations for Hokkaido in Year 2013. Although this graph looks alarming, it seems that stronger quakes are normally related to the positive deviations, but in any case most likely times seem to be on the right hand side of the spikes in majority of cases.
